Ashley Tiplady is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, joining Mr Nyst in forming Nyst Lawyers in 2001 and becoming a Partner in 2008. During that time Mr Tiplady has conducted litigation in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, the United States of America, New Zealand and well as throughout Australia.
Ashley is the head of the firm's Commercial Litigation Division. Prior to joining Chris' team he practised in the litigation department of international firm, Minter Ellison.
Ashley's experience extends to competition law disputes, extrajurisdictional litigation with financial institutions, construction disputes, appeals to the Planning and Environment Court and insolvency matters (both corporate and commercial)
Mr Tiplady's clients and industry experience includes large insolvency firms, retail store chains, commercial and residential property developers, internet barons, local governments, board members of public companies and professional sports people.
Ashley is a guest lecturer at various universities of civil procedure and regularly presents to insolvency industry groups. He is also involved in sports management representing identities from the footballing, cricketing and motor racing fraternities.
